We are seeking a Golf Irrigation Project Specialist to service our customers in our Central OH, Southern OH, and Southeastern Kentucky territory.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have excellent selling and communication skills, paired with the ability to provide support to golf courses and golf irrigation contractors Sales and/or Industry experience with college degree is preferred.

We are looking for a Research Station Facility Specialist who will join our Research & Development team in Marysville, OH.
This position will be based at The Scotts Miracle-Gro world headquarters in Marysville, a suburb of Columbus, OH.
The Ohio Research Station Facility Specialistserves a critical hands-on role in the operation, safety, readiness and appearance of Scotts Ohio Research Station, our largest station located at our Corporate Headquarters in Marysville, Ohio. The Ohio Station enables cutting-edge biological research to develop new lawn & garden products across our extensive number of brands and businesses.
The Research Station Facility Specialist is one of a team of professionals who work to keep the Ohio R&D facilities and infrastructure in research-ready condition with amazing visual appeal. The Station consists of a 17,000 sq ft state-of-the-art greenhouse with a USDA certified insectary, two new indoor controlled environment research facilities totaling over 10,000 sq ft and 100+ acres of turf and garden research areas including shade tree areas, raised beds, rain-out shelters, storage sheds, extensive equipment and utility vehicles. The specialist will be instrumental in helping maintain our amazing resources on a daily basis and identifying ways to improve our operation, processes and systems.

About The Medallion Club: The Medallion Club is a private facility featuring 27-holes of championship golf designed by Jack Nicklaus II that opened in 1994. The picturesque ponds, wooded areas, and preserve lands are a beautiful combination for the three distinctive golf courses which were specially designed around the natural settings. Each course has its own unique style and challenges. The design utilizes and highlights the many outstanding natural features which are so unique to Medallion.

Knowledge and Skill Set:
1-2 years golf course maintenance experience
AIT’s will be given strong consideration
Supervise and oversee staff, equipment operation, ground maintenance needs and fertility/fungicide program.
Train and supervise a team of seasonal associates while ensuring all safety protocols and policies are adhered to.
Contribute input into watering and irrigation cycles according to turf and plant requirements and help to oversee the repairs, maintenance, and designs of the irrigation, pumping and drainage systems.
Must have current Ohio Pesticide License or be able to obtain license within 6 months.
Possess strong communicational skills along with strong problem solving skills.
Must be able to pass drug test.
Position responsibilities:
Provide supervision and technical expertise on various projects to ensure timelines/deadlines are met while exceeding Membership expectations for course conditions.
You will be a part of all aspects of golf course maintenance
General maintenance responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
calibration
product application
course set up
irrigation
drainage
equipment operation
equipment maintenance
Pesticide and fertilizer responsibilities will include:
Pesticide application
Fertilizer application
Product inventory
Documentation of pesticide and fertilizer applications
Monitor the grounds for disease and pest infestations
Working cooperatively with the Golf Course Superintendent and other key staff members to coordinate, schedule and oversee the maintenance of a 27-hole golf course and practice facility.

Position Overview

Position: Equipment/Shop Manager Course: Lancaster Golf Club Location: Lancaster, Ohio
The equipment manager reports to the golf course superintendent and oversees a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for the golf course assets. This program includes the diagnostics and repair of equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment, and prepare orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment or service. The equipment manager properly communicates any needs or problems relating to the maintenance or repair of equipment to the superintendent and/or the assistant superintendent. The equipment manager places safety as a top priority and is responsible for maintaining a clean service area and maintenance building.

Muirfield Village is the dream work of JackNicklaus, who wanted to bring professional golf to his hometown of Columbus, Ohio. The Club was opened for play in 1974 and hosted the first Memorial Tournament in 1976.
The 260 Acre property boasts over seventy bunkers, numerous stream crossings and bentgrass playing surfaces. Job Requirements:
Applicants must have experience servicing gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and working with reel mower adjustment. Ideal candidates excel at building, recording, and reporting preventative maintenance programs, as well as, maintaining parts inventory with extensive purchasing experience. Must have a valid drivers license, high school diploma, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

The Memorial Tournament May 31 - June 6, 2021
The Memorial Tournament is one of the few invitational tournaments remaining on the PGA Tour. The tournament boasts one of the larger purses of the year at approx. $8.8m. The tournament winner receives close to $2m earnings, as well as, an all important three year exemption. The Memorial Tournament supports many local charities, most notably, Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Since 1978, the Memorial Tournament has donated more than $30m to support both local and national charitable organizations.
Our Team
Chad Mark has been the Director of Grounds at Muirfield Village for the past four seasons. His previous Supt positions include Inverness and Kirtland CC.
Nate McKinniss is entering his first season as Superintendent but has been with the Club since the spring of 2017.
Bill Claytor has been the Equipment Manager at MVGC for over a decade and has placed several assistants as lead Equipment Managers during that time.
