EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN/MANAGER

Westerville, Ohio

The Lakes Golf and Country Club, in the Columbus Ohio area, is seeking to hire an experienced golf course equipment service technician/manager. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain, inspect, diagnose, and repair all issues pertaining to all golf course equipment
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program of all equipment and purchase repair parts and supplies
• Keep detailed repair and preventative maintenance records for all equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop area
• Instruct and/or train golf course maintenance workers regarding preventative maintenance, proper cleaning of, and safe operation of equipment
• Communicate with Superintendent concerning needs and/or problems with the upkeep and use of golf course equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior golf course equipment maintenance experience
• Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine repairs and preventative maintenance
• Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
• Reel grinding and set up experience
• Welding and fabrication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License

Projected Work Schedule:

• Normal working hours are Monday – Friday from 6am – 2:30pm
• May be required to work occasional holidays, weekends, and overtime, as dictated by need
