Brookside Golf and Country Club in Columbus, Ohio is currently accepting applications/resumes for a full time Second Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position available: April 1, 2021

Duties/Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• Crew Management and Training

• Irrigation Management and Repair

• Course Setup

• Project Management

• Tournament Preparations

• Fertilization and Pesticide Applications

Qualifications:

• Desire to be a Golf Course Superintendent

• Willingness to learn all aspects of golf course management

• 3-5 years’ Experience in Golf Course Maintenance

• 2 or 4 Year Degree in Turfgrass Management

• Positive Attitude and Ability to be a Team Player

• Attention to Detail

• Dependable

Salary: 40-45K

Brookside Golf and CC is a private 18-hole facility located in Worthington Ohio. Established in 1927, Brookside is consistently recognized as one of the top 5 golfing experiences in central Ohio. Home to the US Open Sectional Qualifier and host to numerous prestigious tournaments including the Ohio amateur and the Trans Mississippi Am. The club is preparing for a course renovation in Fall 2021 under the direction of renowned course architect Brian Silva. Project will include new bunkering, additional tees and re- shaping of fairways.
