New Chemistry Updates and Best Practices for Seedhead and Insect Control in the Midwest
Paul Giordano, Ph.D., Bayer

Presentation Description:
Insecticides are important tools in the integrated management of pests across the landscape. These chemistries are often impacted by various physical, microbial, and environmental factors that can limit their efficacy and persistence. The same can be said for growth regulators when it comes to seedhead control for putting greens.

This presentation covers the key factors associated with optimizing insect control and seedheads when using modern chemical solutions in a programmatic approach. Attendees will leave with a greater understanding of best practices and critical watch-outs that will ultimately lead to better, more consistent protection of their turf surfaces and an optimization of their investment.
